The Club at ArrowCreek Brings on New GM and Director of Culinary Operations
The Club at ArrowCreek has hired a new general manager and director of culinary operations. The new leadership team will be instrumental in guiding the private golf course and country club as it continues to undergo a $50 million renovation project that includes a transformation of Club’s full-service clubhouse, multiple new dining options and a new meeting and event space, available to rent by the public.
Serving as general manager for The Club at ArrowCreek is Jim Cleary, an accomplished hospitality executive with more than 34 years of experience operating complex and multi-amenity facilities. He most recently served as the general manager of Red Hawk Golf and Resort in Sparks and previously held the title of chief operating officer at The Lodge of Four Seasons and The Club at Porto Cima, both in Missouri. Importantly for his new role at The Club at ArrowCreek is Cleary’s experience with development, pre-opening, opening, major construction, and concurrent operations as well as his demonstrated commitment to exceptional guest service and employee satisfaction.

Leon Teow, Director of Culinary Operations
Chef Leon Teow will serve as the Club’s director of culinary operations. Chef Teow’s culinary journey began when he was just six years old helping his mother’s catering business in Penang, Malaysia. After graduating from the Penang Culinary Association Chef Teow would go on to have stints at the Shangri-La Hotel and the five-star Mutiara Hotel by Mandarin Oriental in Malaysia; The Princess Hotel in Bermuda; and to the Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island in Florida. He spent a decade with The Ritz-Carlton Hotel company assisting with the opening and reopening of numerous properties including The Ritz-Carlton Rose Hall, Jamaica; The Ritz-Carlton, Tysons Corner in McLean, Virginia; The Ritz-Carlton, Naples; and The Ritz-Carlton, South Beach among others. Most recently he served as executive chef at Loews Portofino Bay Hotel at Universal Orlando where he oversaw 126 employees and $25 million in food and beverage revenue.
