PAUL NOLEN
DIRECTOR OF GOLF

Paul is originally from western Colorado, but has spent most of his career in Tucson, Arizona. His career spans the country, starting out in Rancho Mirage, California at Mission Hills Country Club, then making his way to Savannah, Georgia at The Landings Club. He ventured back out west in 1995 and spent 23 years in Tucson, 18 of that at The Gallery Golf Club where they hosted the 2007 & 2008 Accenture Match Play Championships among many other major amateur, collegiate and professional events.

Paul is a graduate of the University of Arizona where he played on the men’s golf team for four years. While there, he won two tournaments including the 1984 Pac-10 Individual Championship. He was All Conference his sophomore year and Honorable Mention All American his senior year.
He was humbled in 2016 when the Arizona Golf Hall of Fame honored him with the Johnny Bulla Award which is “in recognition of an individual who has demonstrated a lifelong professional playing career in Arizona.”

Paul and his much better half, Robin, are looking forward to meeting many new people and enjoying the outdoors in the Reno area.

HEAD PGA PROFESSIONAL

Jim shares over 35 years experience managing golf facilities. Member of the PGA Quarter Century Club and Life Member of the PGA of America. Accomplished leader in all aspects of country club management including, but not limited to; golf shop, golf course, food and beverage, pool facility, fitness, and tennis. The ability to implement programs that insure member and guest satisfaction, deliver great customer service and increase revenues.

Originally, from Pittsburgh, Pa. Jim entered into the golf business as an Assistant Professional at Maggie Valley Resort in the mountains of Western North Carolina. From there he has been Director of Golf at Two Rivers Country Club, a private equity facility in Williamsburg, Virginia, General Manager/Director of Golf at Albemarle Plantation near the Outer Banks of North Carolina, General Manager/Director of Golf at Kings Deer Golf Club in Monument, Colorado and General Manager/Director of Golf at Monument Hill Country Club also in Monument, Colorado. Most recently he has been the Head Golf Professional at Picacho Hills Country Club in Las Cruces, New Mexico.

BILLY GARRITY
1ST ASSISTANT GOLF PROFESSIONAL

Billy was born and raised in Dublin, CA and moved to Nashville, TN after high school to play Ice Hockey at the minor junior level. It was there where he fell in love with the game of Golf, and got enrolled in the PGA Program while working at The Governor’s Club in Brentwood, TN. Billy moved back to California and decided to pursue Golf as a full time career. Before becoming a professional at The Club at Arrow Creek, Billy was most recently a Golf Professional at Castlewood Country Club in Pleasanton, CA, another 36 hole Troon Prive facility. He is excited to coach our PGA Jr. League teams as well as continue to do club fittings, private lessons, and fun-based clinics and games for our members.

Billy enjoys golfing, fishing, hunting, and lives in South Reno with his girlfriend Olivia.

Dana DeSarle, Teaching Professional at The Club at ArrowCreek
DANA DeSARLE
TEACHING PROFESSIONAL

Dana DeSarle was a Member at the Club at Arrowcreek for 10 years winning 6 Club Championships, 3 times stroke play and 3 times match play. Dana re- entered the PGA program, became an employee at the Club in 2018 and is in the process of finishing his PGA education specializing in Teaching, Coaching, and Fitness. He played on the Golf Team at Scottsdale Community College then entered the Navy where he was stationed in Fallon, NV, after his Naval Service he finished his education at the University of Nevada, Reno where he competed on the Golf Team 1993-1994 and met his wife and he has 2 sons currently attending UNR. Dana DeSarle has compiled Fourteen wins and nine 2nds over the past 15 years in Northern Nevada between Club Championships, NNGA, Sierra NV PGA & Pepsi Professional Tour. His Low career round Bogey Free 63 at Fernley Golf Course in SNPGA PRO AM. In Addition Dana is a TPI Certified Personal Trainer specializing in Golf Fitness.

JEREMY BUDGE
TOURNAMENT COORDINATOR

Born in Huntington Beach, CA Jeremy moved to Reno at a young age and attended Reno High and the University of Nevada. He began his career working in the golf business at Washoe Golf Course and then moved on to Hidden Valley Country Club and Wolf Run Golf Club, eventually ending up at The Club at ArrowCreek in 2001.

Jeremy is married to Jennifer Budge who works as the Parks Director for Carson City and together they have three boys…Connor (15), Matthew (12) and Andrew (12). As a family they enjoy attending the boys’ sports events and visiting Nevada’s open spaces and parks.
